He lives at a boarding farm about 3 blocks from my house here in Longmont. Easy walking distance. And has he ever become a big dog. He comes when called, follows me when I walk around, and just loves attention. Not bad for someone who has only been handled 3 weeks!!

I've been watching a lot of sports the past few weeks - rugby, baseball, the Cowboys and baseball! It's pretty damn cool, what more can one say?

American Sportpony is what I showed my glossy one as.

I think they didn't show them because they were at auction on eBay. (DUMB) But hey, knowing them, he'd have even more issues! I haven't been able to call Doug and check up the Blue Flick since I've been super busy at work but it's on my list of things to do ASAP.

Thanks for the compliments on both of them! I am really lucky in both. And Megan even likes model horses and has her own collection. She comes to shows with me occasionally. Maybe I should bring Monster to a model show? Think he would stand on the table??

Meet Monster!

So here are a few pictures of my new guy from Alberta, adopted through the Animali site. He is a 3/4 Percheron, 1/4 Morgan cross, and has just the sweetest personality. He has only been "home" ie Colorado, for 5 days, and I can already pet and handle him. Up until now the only human contact he has had was being herded into a chute to be gelded (ouch) and then onto a truck. He is just naturally gentle and sweet. Just wanted to share the newest addition to the Colorado herd.

The girl in the last pic is my daughter Megan.
